Uniforms
Pre-K to 2nd grade
- The only required items are two custom SBV Adidas jerseys.
- Additional pieces can be purchased to complete the kit and give our Rec players the custom-kit experience, but they are not required.
- All uniform items are purchased through Soccer.com and are subject to their exchange and return policies.
- Each jersey costs $23.50, or $11.75 per year.
- On game day: the home team (listed first) wears Blue, the visitors wear Yellow.
3rd grade and up: Uniforms for 3rd grade and up are organized by each team's coach, which gives teams the flexibility to personalize their kit.
Spring 2027 at a Glance
- Nov 1 Registration opens for Spring 2027.
- Nov 1 - Dec 12 Returning player placement window. Register by Dec 12 to be guaranteed back on last season's team.
- Dec 12, 11:59pm Soft deadline. Registrations after this incur a $25 late fee (no exceptions), and team placement is not guaranteed.
- Mid-March Team assignments, practice schedules, and game schedules released before the first game.
- 8 games We schedule 8 games with the intent to play seven. Cancelled games are not rescheduled.
Your Child's Season
Pre-K to 2nd grade play SBV's own league at SBV HQ: Scheels OP Soccer Complex. 3rd grade and up play in the Heartland Soccer League, at fields across the KC metro.

Practices
- Kindergarten to 2nd grade: your head coach picks the team's practice place, night and time.
- Practice locations will include schools and parks in Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Leawood.
- Coaches schedule practices at locations convenient to their players — area school district fields, area parks, and SBV HQ: Scheels OP Soccer Complex.

Good to Know
- Every coach must complete SafeSport certification and pass a background check before stepping on the field.
- With the exception of our PreK teams, teams are originally formed by area schools.
